The race for Illinois Governor is at full throttle, and so are heated debates over minimum wage, the state’s massive deficit, and Governor Quinn’s request to delay laying out his state budget until after the March primary. The governor and the president are on the same page about the minimum wage. They want to raise it. But some businesses say they cannot afford higher wages.
