Arsalan Iftikhar was a residential advisor at Washington University when a plane crashed into the Twin Towers on September 11, 2001. Nine years later, Iftikhar writes a blog about Islam in America and draws television audiences of more than 300 million.
Iftikhar, a University alumnus and human rights lawyer, came back to campus on Monday for the first time in seven years. He was the first speaker of this year’s Assembly Series.
